Hydra Facial

What is it?

Hydrafacial uses a patented technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate the skin. It will provide you instantly and gratifying glow.

However, here at AM Esthetic Clinic, we can provide three different kinds of HydraFacial Treatment where the first 3 steps are always included and 2 additional ones can or cannot be used depending on the type of HydraFacial that you choose:

- HydraFacial Simple

- HydraFacial with RF and Ultrasound

- HydraFacial Complete (RF, Ultrasound, Acids and Oxygen)

How is done?

First 3 steps (always included):

1 - CLEANSE + PEEL

Uncover a new layer of skin with gentle exfoliation and relaxing resurfacing

2 - EXTRACT

Remove debris from pores with painless suction.

3 – HYDRATE

Nourish with intense moisturizers that quench skin.

Additional steps

4 – RF & ULTRASOUND

RF therapy uses low energy radiation to heat the deep layer of your skin called the dermis. This heat stimulates the production of collagen to help improve signs of wrinkles and sagging skin.

5 – ACIDS AND OXYGEN

A mix of salicylic and glycolic acids as well as Oxygen are applied for deep moisturizing and glowing effect

Who is it recommended for?

This treatment is nice for teenagers with acne, adults with pimples, wrinkles, and hyper-pigmentation, and for older patients with sun damage.

A Hydrafacial treatment is experienced by most people as comfortable and relaxing.

- The treatment is good for dehydrated skin and with discoloration.

- Removes fine and deep wrinkles.

- Is helpful for sensitive skin, with broken capillaries and rosacea.

- It’s a good treatment for signs of facial strain.

How does it look in the end?

Expect a little redness immediately following the treatment, but it will quickly disappear.

After the treatment, it is worth remembering to protect the skin against UV radiation which can be done by using a cream with high sunscreen. In addition, you should avoid exposing your skin to extreme weather conditions.

How long does it last?

It can last from 45 to 90 minutes, it will depend of the type of hydrafacial chosen.

Aftercare Instructions?

Avoid any type of exfoliating treatments such as glycolic acid or enzymes in the area until for 48 hours after your Hydrafacial treatment.

Avoid heat (hot showers, sauna, and intense cardio) for 24 hours after treatment.

Contraindications?

 None.

Side effects?

One of the many reasons why the HydraFacial is so popular is because there's minimal side effects, and essentially no downtime post-treatment.

Refill/Touch Up?

Although your skin looks dewy and glows following a HydraFacial, the treatment isn't a quick fix. It’s intended to improve skin's appearance over time. That being said, its effects do last longer than other facials, but in order to get maximum results, we suggest getting a HydraFacial treatment every four to six weeks.
