Hydra Facial

What is it?

Hydrafacial is a revolutionary face treatment specifically for skin cleansing, with a 99.9% satisfaction rate on the Realself platform. This treatment consists of a deep, invigorating and exclusive skin cleansing that provides short and long term health to the skin.

It is always adapted to the specific needs of all skin types and conditions (oily skin, dry skin, combination skin, sensitive skin, blemished skin, etc.). All this in a quick treatment that offers real immediate results.

How is done?

HydraFacial is a non-invasive, multi-step treatment with a combination of invigorating therapies plus advanced medical equipment technology. Thus, several types of active principles reach the dermis without injection, just by friction and suction. The unique spiral design allows you to create a vortex effect that easily loosens and removes impurities while introducing skin hydration solutions and potent antioxidants.

At AM Esthetic Clinic you can find 3 types of Hydra Facial:

Hydra Easy Simple - 3 steps included

Step 1 - Cleaning and Exfoliation

Through the application tip, Hydrafacial will apply a combination of glycolic and salicylic acid to the skin, both well known for their exfoliating and sebum-regulating properties. These acids will help in the treatment of skin imperfections and rejuvenation by removing dead cells and stimulating cell renewal.

Step 2 - Extraction

With the specific suction tip and ultrasonic spatula, Hydrafacial will make a deep extraction of impurities from the pores in a painless way and without too much aggression to the skin.

+

Step 3 - Hydration

After deep cleansing the skin, Hydrafacial will apply moisturizers, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid to promote deep hydration, maximizing radiance and improving skin texture.

Step 5 - Radio Frequency and Ultrasound

Low energy radiation is used to heat the deep layer of the skin called dermis. This heat stimulates collagen production to help improve the signs of wrinkles and sagging skin.

Who is it recommended for?

Skin cleaning should be a habit that accompanies all stages of life, from adolescence, so that the skin can remain healthy throughout life. Dead cells, oil, sweat, make-up and environmental pollution are impurities for the skin, which must be removed, so that the skin can keep its natural functions of hydration, defense and immunity.

How does it look in the end?

Expect a little redness immediately following the treatment, but it will quickly disappear.

After the treatment, it is worth remembering to protect the skin against UV radiation which can be done by using a cream with high sunscreen. In addition, you should avoid exposing your skin to extreme weather conditions.

How long does it last?

It can last from 45 to 90 minutes, it will depend of the type of hydrafacial you chose.

Aftercare Instructions?

Avoid any type of exfoliating treatments such as glycolic acid or enzymes in the area until for 48 hours after your Hydrafacial treatment.

Avoid heat (hot showers, sauna, and intense cardio) for 24 hours after treatment.

Contraindications?

 None.

Side effects?

One of the many reasons why the HydraFacial is so popular is because there's minimal side effects, and essentially no downtime post-treatment.

Refill/Touch Up?

Although your skin looks dewy and glows following a HydraFacial, the treatment isn't a quick fix. It’s intended to improve skin's appearance over time. That being said, its effects do last longer than other facials, but in order to get maximum results, we suggest getting a HydraFacial treatment every four to six weeks.
